Climbing 207 Steps To the Top of El Miguelete

Last Updated on March 27, 2021

The Torre del Miguelete is one of the most iconic monuments in all of Valencia. El Miguelete stands directly beside the grand Valencia Cathedral right at the heart of the city’s historic center. Its construction dates back to between the 14th and 15th centuries when it was first worked on by several architects. The Gothic-style bell tower stands over 207 feet above the ground and contains exactly 207 steps that tourists must climb in order to reach the top. The seemingly never-ending spiral staircase eventually opens up to a wonderful space up top where you get to see the grand bell up-close while enjoying a breathtaking view of Valencia. You can even see the sea out in the distance.
