Daily Prompt: Last But Not Least

“In your imaginary award acceptance speech (yes, we know you have one), who’s the very last — and most important — person you thank?” –The Daily Post

I honestly want to thank society as a whole. I feel like there are so many people I value, even ones who I haven’t met yet, that all add something meaningful to my life in one way or another. Yes, I want to thank my parents. But I also want to thank my grandparents. And my friends. And my professors. And my roommate. And my classmates. And all of the people who I walk past on a random day that smile back at me. And all of the people I see on the news who continue to accomplish great things every single day. Even the people on the sides of the street that remind me how important it is to always be thinking of others.
