Daily Prompt: Sweet Sixteen

“Write a post inspired by your sixteenth birthday.” –The Daily Post

Whoa. My sixteenth birthday was only two years ago and I can barely remember it… is that sad?

To celebrate, my parents probably had our family over for coffee & cake. I’m sure my mom and dad took me somewhere fun to eat. I don’t remember much else.

What I do know is that when I went to school that day, my classmates were probably making a big deal over how I’m a year younger than everyone else. Because of the age, I’m sure people were probably asking me if I was getting my license (figuring I turned 17) meanwhile I actually had to start working on getting my permit!
