Daily Prompt: Quirk of Habit

“Which quirky habit annoys you the most, and what quirky habit do you love — in yourself, or others.” –The Daily Post

capslock-717174I have a terrible habit of using CAPS LOCK instead of the shift key when trying to capitalize individual letters. I type so quickly I never even noticed until I got a Samsung Chromebook and realized nothing was getting capitalized because Google replaced the Caps Lock key with a Search key.

everything i typed looked like this at first but luckily i figured out how to change the settings so the search key functions as a caps lock. my quirky habit shall not die.

I have a strange habit of documenting EVERYTHING and I see that as a good habit! I guess that is what led me to evetually become a blogger! I have this blog- and then I have another private one that basically works as my online diary.

  1. LOL! I have the same mistake ingrained internally, get in a hurry and keep hitting the caps lock instead of the shift. Then I get so angry…at everyone except myself! But I do wonder who the idiot was that put the two so close together on the keyboard! Much love and naked hugs!

    1. Yeah, they are very close together and for the longest time, I actually never knew the purpose of the shift key. I started learning how to type around the age of six or seven and at the time, I thought caps lock HAD to be used! And thus the bad habit was born.
