Daily Prompt: Local Flavor

“Write a piece about a typically “local” experience from where you come from as though it’s an entry in a travel guide.” –The Daily Post

There is this graveyard in my town that any and all visitors have to go see. It’s widely known that on nights of a full moon, the graveyard gives off an eerie green glow that is visible to some people but not to others. The glowing haze floats in the fog, hides through the shadows, and radiates off of the gravestones.

It’s the perfect place to go with your friends if you want to use a Ouija Board to talk to spirits. Maybe it’s a little too perfect… Personally, I will never go back. I don’t think I will ever touch one of the Spirit Boards ever again either. Couldn’t hurt to visit the place if you’re in the area though!
